Asking for 5 Dollar

Asking something with others is always a matter of shame at first  thinking that what the other person think if i ask for something. Though the person can kindly agree for the things that we ask for. Probably, we assume many replies with yes and no with our mental imagination.

When i was travelling, on the way to the city i was going, i met a traveler from Philippine she was also going to the city that i was going to. The shuttle stopped in the mid way and everyone went for the refreshment.  , i had different currencies not being able to change into the local currencies. It was cold and windy all i wanted was hot stuffs to drink. And then i asked for 4 dollars from the traveler siting besides me saying that i will return it.

She gave me strange look and said " I do not have 4";

I said give me 5 then.

Later she thought for a while and said " I can buy you a drink, what would you like to have?"

Hot chocolate small one ( that was of 4 dollars)

I said i will return her money because the city we were travelling to was small and there were the possibility to met again. That was that. The shuttle dropped us on two different place.

Later one day i met her, we exchanged the greetings but at that time i had 5 dollar note. I gave her that but she had only two dollars.
Me: You can take this 5 dollar

She: Ohh in that case i can take your 5 but you can take 2 instead of 1.

I said okay, still had one dollar to pay her

Again after few days we met and i that time i returned her 1 dollar. Since then we are friends and we often meet and share about each other : )
